Well everything "twinges" but doesn't really hurt. I am upping the time each run and each run is actually pretty good I finish and with ice & ibuprohen I survive (if not thrive). Packaged up some checks and some documentation today to get myself on the good side of the Arthritis Society.
(Interesting side note - The group that went to Manchu Picchu wound up experiencing an earthquake in Peru. Some of the people are still there but all are apparently fine - just think, two adventures to bring home)
I am thinking about running the Oakville 1/2 marathon on Sept 4th. Might be a good warm up and I have to run anyway. Here's the link http://www.oakvillehalfmarathon.com/
There are only 76 Days until the start of the Marathon (OK ---> 76 Days, 10Hours and 4 Minutes according to the website). Anyway here is a little preview of the Greek Marathon

From the top right to the bottom left, that is the route. Even on a satellite picture that's a long freakin' way. But then I think about getting up close and personal with Greek History .
Here's the Acropolis - Nice eh?
Apparently you can see it from our Hotel, the Royal Olympic Hotel. I like the sound of "Royal". When I was in England they wouldn't let me into the Palace so maybe this is finally my chance to be Regal.
Here is where the hotel is located (Right in the Heart of Historic Athens)
AWESOME!
